Hello ladies and gents!
I'm trying to built a HTPC using Ubuntu with Kodi on top. My system is a SFF Dell Optiplex 980, 8gb RAM, with video card using Geforce GT610 with 2GB of memory from Zotac. The system is dedicated only to playback movies. It replaces a laptop I've successfully using so far and but I had to give it back since it was borrowed
No matter what I do, each time I playback a network movie it stops every 20-30 secs to buffer.I've tried Kodibuntu, Openelec, Ubuntu with Kodi, tried also some Fusion add-on to write advanced setting xml file for cache buffer size.
I've just finished (re)installing Ubuntu 14.05 x64 with Kodi on top. Well, that being said, the situation drives me nuts! I don't know waht to do! With the laptop was running just fine, the SFF is a nightmare
Can any of you give me a hand on where to go from here to make it work?
Much appreciate it!
Dan
