I have a MythTV backend on my LAN. Lots of videos stored and handled by MythTV. I have installed the pvr-mythtv plugin and I can see recordings and live TV. But I haven't figured out how to access the videos. These videos are accessible when I use MythTV frontend in another box. I have tried reading up on this, but I get lost in menus. I use the git version of Kodi and it seems there have been changes to the user interface.
So the question is: how the heck I can initiate loading the listing of those movies?

MythTV had its own section here - you're better asking for support there.
Moving this thread to that section.

The Mythtv PVR client won't let you access the videos, it only interfaces with the recordings section.
You have two options
1) Share the drive or drives with your videos on using samba or NFS
2) Use upnp to access the files
This might help
From Kodi find Videos->Files->Add videos...
- Browse
- UPnP devices
- <server>: MythTV AV Media Server
- Videos
- OK

Thanks. My Kodi is built without UPnP support ... this leaves me with NFS only.
