sho Wrote:thanks guys, what if you enable both Enable IMPAwards & Enable MoviePosterDB?
Will it fetch 3 pics (incl. IMDb) or will one have preference?

And Devs, please don't be afraid of placing a reminder here if you add features/functionality that needs to be documented.

Hi, just got XBMC to work yesterday. In anticipation to the upgrade I uploaded hundreds of movie posters to movieposter.db in hope that I could use them as thumbnails (I know I can do this manually too).

My question is: why doesn't the movie posters come up when I update info? I have IMPAwards & MoviePoster.DB enabled and am using IMDB to get info.

I can give you an example. Among the Living (1941). I have an image at movieposter.db but the thumbnail comes up blank...

@felixxx999, this specific topic-thread (and forum) is not meant for support! So...
Please post a new topic thread in the "XBMC for Xbox - Support (Help) Forum" instead.

Thanks!

I think the manual must contain the information from this topic.
I spend some hours exploring the online manual and looking the solution of my problem, until i find that topic.

I made a dumb mistake upgrading my XBMC on my xbox following the Online Manual. Since my initial install I was always accessing my install via the FTP through my XBMC as it is my dashboard. For adding plugins and editing xml files this is not an issue. XBMC can't be running during this step from this page:

Quote:Then ftp the files mentioned in the last section to the folder that contains XBMC on your Xbox, overwriting existing files.

I booted my xbox to my X3 page and used the X3 ftp to log in thus XBMC files are not in use.

Not sure if this is a one in a million noob mistake or not but it would have reminded me I can't FTP that way.
