I'm getting a strange error with XBMC in Linux - the whole thing is slightly transparent... I can just see the terminal that I am running it from, other windows and my desktop through the UI.
I have tried to take a screenshot to show what I mean, but XBMC captures the keypress, producing a normal looking shot.
This only happens in fullscreen mode - when it's in a window, it's properly opaque.
Has anyone else experienced this? I've noticed it in the last few SVN revisions.
Is XBMC supposed to be slightly transparent?

got absolutely nothing to do with xbmc - that's your window manager doing naughties
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting. Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules. For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first. |

This is compiz fusion / Beryl, Several people had problems with this and Fullscreen video. You need to add an exception of some sort. But search for Transparent Video with compiz or something like this in UbuntuForums.
I've had the problem and it's possible to fix |
