KodiSetup-20180525-8a6c6c70-master-x86 is working fine, but on KodiSetup-20180527-c313e69f-master-x86 the issue on the video calibration is present.

So right now there is no fix/workaround that can be used on current KODI 17.6?

I tried changing the default values for subtitles in guisettings.xml as well as MyVideos.db, hoping that would work. But unfortunately it didn't stick and those values were reset again.

I hope knowing presicely when issue has been introduced back, it will allow you to find out and be able to fix it.

I would guess it was introduced by https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/13939

Could you test if http://mirrors.kodi.tv/test-builds/windo...0--x86.exe works as this is from immediately before that PR was merged.
If that was ok then test http://mirrors.kodi.tv/test-builds/windo...8--x86.exe which includes that PR to see if that's broken.

I've only supplied the 32bit version as that's what you seemed to use above.

Yes, you found the culprit one. Before the PR it works fine, after the PR it's broken.

@afedchin has had a recent addition to the family so not so active on Kodi at the moment, so you may have to be patient for a while longer.

@jpsdr could you clarify whether the issue is exactly the same as was seen when you had the issue with v17.6 just want to be sure of the steps required to reproduce. Also not sure if afedchin will need it but if you could do a debug log anyway of you doing the video calibration.and copy to https://paste.ubuntu.com/ that way we can ensure if he does get any time to take a look then he has all relevant information to hand.

As an aside, if you still have that Pioneer TV you are aware overscan can be disabled by setting it to dot by dot mode.

The issue is not related to the PR. Calibration isn't saved in guisettings.xml file so after restart it will unable to apply calibration. So this is not windows related issue.

@jpsdr I information I've received is that it's due to your multi-monitor setup, so you calibrate and it is stored but then the second monitor is found with the uncalibrated (0, 0) and that overwrites the values in guisettings, didn't entirely follow what was explained to me so hopefully I've summarised that correctly. This issue seems to come from the platform agnostic part of the code so could you please raise a trac ticket as this is something that will likely need the attention of our videoplayer dev.

After some internal discussion there maybe a fix https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/14279

I've started off a test build with that PR will post back here when it's ready.

Always tested on one monitor configuration, never had 2 (or more) monitors on all PC i've tested.
Where this multi-monitor things came from ?

Ok, i'll test when ready.

When before a PR there is not the issue, and after the PR there is the issue, i've hard time to believe the issue is not from the PR...
