Sound....

couple questions when i try to play a video the sound its just like really loud white noise on digital but when on analog there isnt any sound im kind of confused sense the only output on a macbook pro is a audio jack but the video looks great!! so anyone know how to get this to play on a surround sound receiver??

also the video looks good but its frame rate is way high..

sorry i keep finding things but......it seems like the only files that are having problems are .mkv HD files

I get video, but no sound on my iMac. Any ideas?
