Media Mosaics
=============
This addon intend to improve the zapping experience of Kodi IP TV, while it enables multi video screen, arranged in a user defined mosaics.
It also approve the loading time of IP TV channels, by caching them instead of refetch on request. IPTV can be rewinds, fast forward and pause .
Another thing that it will enable (probably in later releases) is to record ip tv channels.

The addon fully integrated and support ip-simple-tv PVR !!!!

I will mostly appreciate a feedback, good or bad :-)

Prerequisites:
==============
This plugin requier Kodi "Krypton" (17.x).
The addon was tested with windows 8.1 as well as Linux Mint (expected to work on any Ubuntu)

Note: The plugin installation will work also on "Jarvis" (16.x), but due to a bug in Kodi Player, it is unlikely that the video will be stable.

Integration with PVR:
=====================
The plugin can use kodi-pvr-iptvsimple information (channels and EPG). It simplly uses the m3u file that kodi-pvr-iptvsimple use and the EPG information from Kodi database.

Install:
========
Linux -

install ffmpeg:

sudo apt-get install ffmpeg

install kodi (If not installed):

sudo apt-get install software-properties-common
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install kodi

upgrade kodi (If not on the latest version "Krypton" (17.x)):

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

install kodi-pvr-iptvsimple (If needed):

sudo apt-get install kodi-pvr-iptvsimple

Linux/Windows -

Install the addon from the zip file

Launch Kodi >> Add-ons >> Get More >> .. >> Install from zip file

Help and getting started
========================
If you managed to install the addon successfuly, you will automatically be directed to "Getting Started" videos. Spent 10 minutes to view the videos.

* Note: the zip file is big (~36M) while most of Kodi addons are small. This is due to some "getting started" videos and ffmpeg executable for windows users.

Hello, nice work, but i can't watch the introduction videos, i will enter manually their location and play them with MPC-HC, for example. In my case the files can be found here C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\addons\script.media.mosaic\resources\help

As you can see, i am using the Administrator account. I also use Windows 10 Pro version 1703 os build 15063.138

I will be back in a few days with some info.

Hi,

1. Please check if you have a background processes named "ffmpeg-kodi".
2. Delete the log file C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\addons\script.media.mosaic\play , reproduced the problem and send me the file.
3. New version (mostly for stability fixes) will be available in feu days.
