used XBMC for very long time, now switched to MCE due to live TV viewing/recording ability.

I wonder if XBMC developers has PVR functionality on their radar? I'm not talking some quick hack solution either, but something like MediaPortal has.

This would make XBMC best thing ever, even better that sliced bread

It's being worked on. PVR is ALL OVER this forum. Look around a bit in the development section and the feature request section.

XBMC will be the front-end to many many PVR back-ends (TVHeadend, MythTV, MediaPortal, etc.)
