Ok, thanks. Did that. The basic-vision skin does prevent XBMC from crashing, although I get a 411 error (it won't work, with the correct username/password and subtitle folder).

But the basic vision skin doesn't have the WAF (wife approval factor). So I'm stuck with PMIII. I've been playing with skin files for three hours now. But no luck. I can't figure it out. I'll give it another try tomorrow....

Anyone with skinning skills interested in making this plugin work with other skins then "Basic Vision" (which is the case now)? It would be very much appreciated! Not only by me (please yell of you agree!).

hi all,

opensubtitles.org coder speaking Smile nice to see, this script is being a little bit developed, ofcourse I want to have it in default instalation in XBMC, also implemented like IMDB and so on, but I am not develoepr of XBMC.

I played a little bit of this script, and cannot get it work, all patches applied, I can setup username/password, but for "Search" button - sometimes no filemanager dialog appears (better said, sometimes it appear), but I cannot select any file, so...

Anyway, I am writing instructions how to implement this in programs, check this:

@[2ge], if you happen to be a Mac user then I can send you an invite to become a Boxee alpha tester so that you can checkout how they modified and implemented this script (as an alpha tester you get access to their SVN for the source code), ...it is working very niclely in Boxee, (they have integrated into the skin so it looks and feels like it is a native function even though it is a python script).

PM me if you are interested.

Maybe not 'as is' but it is open source so anyone can copy it or modify it to make it work in XBMC.

Is there a working download for this script anywhere? I would like to give this script some TLC if possible.

Thanks.

hello wattazoum,

Thanks for modifying script, if you can test in on XBOX, it should be really nice.

I have tried your script on:
windows (navigation window is not visible - same problem as before)
xbox (like windows)
mac (running, than quit)

thats from my side Smile

I have also Kubuntu, but not tested there...
