Internet Streams, Shoutcast, and Last.FM support
#1
I got one of my favorite internet streams to work in XBMC since it has a .pls extension, but one of my other ones does not have that extension so I set it up according to the wiki as a .strm file. When I tried to add source and point to the .strm file, XBMC wouldn't even see it in the folder. Is .strm supported? Are any other streams not supported at the moment?

I also could not get Shoutcast to work. When I select it as the source, it will display the categories (70s, 80s, 90s, etc), but when I select one of the categories, the folder is empty with nothing to select. I tried a bunch of categories and they were all empty. Am I missing something.

Also couldnt get Last.FM source to work.

Thanks for anyone's help...

Well, it appears that 0.1.6 can at least see the STRM file now, but when I try to play it XBMC crashes to desktop.

I'll try to get a crash report in...

The good news is that Last.FM is working pretty good right now...

hi,

just click the "report" button after XBMC crashes and paste the details of the crash on pastie ( http://pastie.caboo.se/ ), and post the link...

Please post a bug at http://dn-0.com/xbmc-trac with the link to Pastie and a full description of how the crash occurred.

Many thanks!

Sorry, I'm new to this....bug entered.

Elan could you possibly put that info in your FAQ? I didn't see the steps there...
