What are the build instructions for the libraries found in system/dvdplayer? Does it use the source found in the mplayer directory of SVN or is that only for mplayer libraries? That directory seems to have a configure script and also a configurexbmc script. Whether or not the configurexbmc script is for linux or not is unclear.

if you're on linux just forget about the mplayer dir in svn - its xbox only.
build instructions.. co the sources from sources/dvdplayer
run configure with friends / the supplied modified configure scripts sitting in the dirs.
