Win Kodi 17.3 Not Opening After Clean Install
#1
Hello, I have a problem in my Kodi.
I was trying to update Kodi to version 17, and after the update I was unable to open it.
So I tried to do a clean install with kodi 17.3, but again, I was unable to open it.
Next there's the zip files with the logs and dmp, one when Kodi is configurate to iGPU driver, and the other to the dGPU driver.
Specs:
Windows 10 Creators Update(10.0.15063)
Intel Core i5 2450M w/ Intel HD Graphics 3000
AMD Radeon HD 7400M (I find out recently that this graphic card was rebranded to AMD Radeon HD 6400M)
Error with dGPU
Error with iGPU

Unfortunately the log files didn't have debug logging turned on, and to make matters worse your pastebin spammed me, and most of the mods don't like archive logs that have the potential to inject -crap-

The log points at a graphic engine issue, and I suggest you make an effort to detail the graphics with a proper driver (even beta if needed).

This Log file/Advanced (wiki) in section 1.2 Turn on debugging using a file (advancedsettings.xml) will allow us to see the issue in detail, copy the log (wiki) to www.pastebin.com and link that URL with a link in this thread.

Hello thefirex,

As @PatK stated it looks like a graphics issue.

You are using Win 10 with HD3000 graphics on 2011 era hardware.

I doubt that your equipment meets the minimum requirements... http://kodi.wiki/view/Hardware_requirement#Windows

You might want to check this in particular "GPU that supports at least level DirectX version 9.0c and has drivers that have correctly implemented DX11 API support. This does NOT mean you need DX11!"

Intel have already stated that there is no support for HD3000 and Win 10, so you might be hard struck to find a current driver. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...05526.html

It might be wise to roll back to v16 if you cannot find any more current drivers.

Ok, I will check my drivers. My laptop was with the win7 installed, and since then I was able to upgrade the version of the Windows and his drivers, but when win10 was released, Intel upload a beta driver (like a last version just to be able to run win 10). But maybe AMD and the version I´m using is affecting the Kodi, so I will try to install AMD beta and WHQL version to see if some of the version will work.
Tomorrow I will say something here
