Hi
I'm having issues with playing some video files and it seems to be sound related. My setup is OSXBMC 0.1.4 hooked up to a nice 2-channel amp via the line out on my MBP.
I've noticed that with videos AC3 audio play back at double speed and with no audio with analog out enabled. If I enable digital audio out in XBMC I get static, which I assume is the bitstream being sent over the analog out.
Am I wrong in assuming that XBMC should be able to decode an AC3/DTS internally and downmix it to stereo before passing it to the analog output? Is this a bug or should I invest in a decoder?
Thanks

I'm sure it will in the future, but I believe I read on here and the official blog that downmixing hasn't been implemented in the OSX port yet.
