Guys,

Are you guys having issues when playing anything via digital audio or only when sending AC3 content over the digital link? With mine set to digital, all normal stereo stuff plays absolutely fine, its just the AC3 encoded stuff that doesn't work. Set to analog, anything plays but only as stereo.

I'm blown away by the vid quality as my Bluray rips look just as good as with Zoomplayer, stunning! Great stuff fellas!
cheers,

I get a black screen with audio when I try to play any video file. Using onboard Intel GMA3100 graphics. Any ideas?

I have the same problem, no video but audio. Onboard Intel Mobile 965G Graphic

Here is the full log:
http://pastebin.com/m9e9167d

Look at those lines:
@line238 DEBUG: Unable to resolve msvcr71.dll div
@line407 OpenGL version 1.5 detected
@line408 GL_ARB_texture_rectangle not supported and OpenGL version is not 2.x

Coulde the problem be something with the msvcr71.dll file?
Or my graphic card not support open gl version 2??

Thx in advance!

I have the same problem. I have put it down to inadequate hardware (Dell P3 latitude laptop). I don’t think the crash is anything to do with the last line in your log as other logs have the same entry and still run. What platform are you trying to run it on?
If someone can make a suggestion as to how much memory should be available and any other “minimum” requirements, I would be grateful.
I am happy to watch the amazing progress made in such a short period and will use this project to justify the purchase of a brand new shiny media centre.

Using a new build today "12226 changed: [WIN32] enabled some optimization for release builds." here is 2 pastebin's.

The 1st one is using Analog audio mode. I play one video (mpeg4-avi), it plays fine, as soon as i play a 2nd one, i get audio, but no video, it stays at the video selection screen, and i have to manually stop XBMC with it sitting on "Not Responding" in Task Manager.
http://pastebin.com/d6bedde1c

This 2nd one is using Digital audio, also only playing mpeg4-avi's. I selected 3-4 video's, but it does nothing but clicks. Then i tried 'Shutdown" and it hangs at 100% resources.
http://pastebin.com/d6ced6743

Now, using Build 12185, i can play 3-4 video's in a row with no freezing at all it seems in Digital. Here's pastebin-
http://pastebin.com/d48381cbd

Here's with Analog audio mode. The 1st time it froze after selecting the 1st video, i manually closed out xbmc, and the 2nd time, i could play 3-4 in a row with no freezes. Weird.

Very random behavior i'm getting for test results.
Hope that helps.

You could be right about my PC its running more slowly than it should and there may be an underlying problem with my PC, its had a hard life.
I'm running XP pro on 2.0 gig hertz processor and have a gig of ram. Which is not good enough for a lot of HD x264 content but it shouldn't pose a problem just starting up the app. These two errors may be at fault or may not be the course of our problems but .exe trying to launch two files that don't exist all seem a bit unnecessary. But what do I know Huh

I'm coming from the XBMC on the Xbox backround here.. so my goal was to make this work as well as that. So far it plays videos just fine for me, networking also works very well.. I'm playing my pre-existing over the network SMB shares, I was even able to copy my UserData over from the Xbox over to The Windows computer and I've got all my TV Show descriptions and artwork. I wanted a Remote Control so I hooked up my Usb-Uirt, and installed Eventghost and configured it to use keyboard presses now I've got a fully functional remote control. In doing this I've noticed that the Context menu isn't functional under the Windows version of XBMC.. It works fine on the Linux port though.

Once this is fixed, I think this version is up to par to start sharing it with my Windows friends. I'm very excited Thanks for everyones hard work on this it's really worth it.
