Library Mode Crash in 0.1.5
#1
As a couple of other people have noted on Elan's blog, I am also experiencing a crash everytime trying to use Library Mode so I figured I would start a thread for it. I've tried mounting my shares locally and also through SMB, it hangs both ways. Also tried both windowed and full screen mode, no difference. Tried deleting ~/Library/Application Support/XBMC folder and still hangs. Here are both the xbmc.log and a stack trace...

trace - http://pastie.caboo.se/162896

Thanks for all the hard work!!!

I'm having problems with Library in 0.1.5 as well, though my problems are different. Library doesn't crash anything on my end. But Library no longer works. I can't see any media, and have to access in file mode. Rescanning for files, reseting the media type, cleaning library, and deleting and adding back sources doesn't nothing. I can only access directly in file mode now.

Library mode indeed doesn't work on 0.1.5. Although it doesn't crash for me, it's just displays nothing. Had to revert to 0.1.4 (thanks Time Machine!), as this is an essential feature to not have. Too bad and I wanted to try Last.FM support... Hopefully that's an easy fix/oversight! :-)

Ya, I got downmix which was the last thing I was waiting for. Then I lost Library mode so it was a wash. Can't use it for the TV's in the house still yet. Perfect for movies in a window while I work on the PC though.

How do you watch movies while you work? Laugh

I hardly work with the library mode, but I do like to add the extra content and thumbs to my movies and tv-series. But even when scanning for info, XBMC crashes, and keeps doing so everytime it's loading info from the web. I need to log out and back in to get it to work again.

Does the library work for anyone in 0.1.5?

I'm an idiot...I upgraded and now I'm also crashing every time I try to update the library with a clean install. No
