GMA3100 Support and The Waiting Game.
#1
What is the reason XBMC won't support the GMA3100 sets?

I'm currently playing the waiting game for the new Mac Mini's considering they should be coming out soon and my XBOX is still holding up...barely.

I read on macrumors.com that the new Mini's will probably have the GMA3100 chipsets so I'm hoping this won't be a problem for us who are waiting before we make the leap into the OS X XBMC scene.

I was under the impression that GMA3100 support was corrected a few releases ago....
24" iMac aluminum(late 2007) 2.4GHz C2D 4GB RAM Radeon HD2600
Mac Mini(early 2008) 2.0GHz C2D 2GB RAM Intel GMA 950
Macbook (late 2007) 2.16Ghz C2D 4GB RAM Intel GMA 950

Ahh, cool, thanks.

The faq hasn't been updated so it still shows it doesn't support it.

I guess I'll be waiting then!!! Smile

Sorry, I updated the FAQ to show X3100 and lack of down-mixing is no longer a problem. Wow, how quickly the baby grows up.
