i heard turning on Vsync in options solves this.
The 'problem' is in idle the GUI is being ran at an FPS as high as possible so it max out the CPU. Not really a problem though but when you turn on Vsync in options it should thake less CPU i think

I can't find that option, only Screen/vertical blanc sync, it was already set to "always enabled"
After some minutes running OSXBMC the Cpu usage drops a bit, but it's always above 10% and without a reason it's raising for periods to 50%

On my macbook(2Gig 2gig ram gma950 skin PM3)when doing nothing I always have 13-25% cpu?! When I hide xbmc(running 480p)to the dock CPU load increase from 15 to 30%?!(doing nothing)

yes, unfortunately it still is high when minimized (avg40%). After minutes the CPU temp goes up to 71 Celsius, and the fans kick in!
