I didn't say I'd actually tested it. I don't even know whether it's been tested within the linuxport either.

I was wondering if any one has had a chance to test this yet who Knows what their doing I compile a build the other day my first attempt to test the new I player plugin but it failed stream the log is below

I would like to help if I can is there any way to more directly test this in a more helpfully manner. it would be really nice if this were working in time for the next TC3H release Big Grin

afaik it works just fine on xbox as well. the problem is that it's not done yet, there's no way to pass those stupid extra params the rtmp lib needs currently

I tried some streams (mainly from the southpark site), but they all didn't play. Can't get it to work. The log says:

Can't wait until this is working! I have a VH1 script I wrote (before i realized it was RTMP) that is pretty much ready to go!

You can still release it for Linux, Mac and Windows http://xbmc.org/download/

If I could do this I'd do it myself, as things stand all I can do is tell those more experienced me how keen I am to see this and request that if anyone has the time could they please do this Wink
