Solved What happened to "Stop Scanning" context menu?
#1
Hey boys and girls,

I have the Automatically Scan Library on startup option turned on and usually if i know i have nothing new when restarting Kodi because it crashed (which happens several times a day) i used to be able to go to the video files section, highlight one of the video sources, press C and choose "Stop Scanning" or "Cancel Scanning" i forget which to cancel the scan.

When it wasn't there anymore, i figured it was probably because i am using an older not fully compatible skin but i just tried with Estuary and it also doesn't work.

Was this removed? If so, why? It's pretty useful for people with extremely large libraries that want to be able to cancel scanning and still keep the automatic scan at startup so you don't forget to add stuff...

i'm running Kodi 17.4 on both Windows and LibreElec with the Transparency! skin, and the stop scanning button is on the hidden off screen menu.

The stop scanning function is alive and well and functioning in the left slide-out menu in file mode view.
