Firts of all, its amazing to see how this superb application evolves. A huge thank you to all developers putting their efforts on this.
I 'm looking for general recommendations on HTPC cabinet for XBMC for Windows and particularly want to make sure that LCD/VFD has good potential to work before I make my choise.

you might want to look in the linux section of this forum.. i'm not sure if the support is the same for both ports for lcd's but it could be a start

nto sure about the LCD/VFD yet but this is my setup
quad core cpu, 2 gig ram nvidia 8800gt 1 terrabyte HDD gigabyte ds4 mobo onboard sound silverstone home theater case GS04 with LCD/VFD havent really used the VFD at all though |

Thanks for the info.
I could not resist ordering one so once I have it setup I can instead help others by testing it myself. Here is what I'm getting Antec Fusion v2 430w PSU Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H AMD Athlon 64x2 4800+ 6400C5DHX DDR2, 2x1G Samsung Spinpoint T166 500G SATA2 Vista Ultimate Might have to add graphic card if DVI to Component is not supported by the MB Just checked that the XBMC WEB server works so I can probably build a small Win app feeding the VFD with information from there or from a background Python script.
