Linux What is the best video driver for AMD E-450 with HD 6320
#1
Hi!

I decided to put Linux Mint on my HTPC (Zotac ZBOX AD04) to play with. It's still dual boot with Win7 so I can test things.

My problem: some video have really bad shutter under Linux (KODI 16) but play perfectly fine in Win.

I read a lot about drivers fro AMD but got confused... Around 2015 AMD dropped support (?) for older cards and I don't know which driver should I install for proper hardware acceleration...

Could somebody guide me in proper direction?

Thanks!!!

radeon + vdpau

No need to install anything additional on top.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

How can I check that vdpau is installed? How can I install it?

sudo apt-get install mesa-vdpau-drivers vdpauinfo

then try with running: vdpauinfo
