According to cnx-software.com it did not have Google Widewine and Microsoft Playready certificates for DRM when they made the press announcements:

To play Netflix 4K for example it needs to have Google Widewine L1 and be certified by Netflix

Then there is also Microsoft Playready license and certificate

https://www.microsoft.com/playready/

You can check Widevine DRM support with DRM Info app:

FYI:
Looks like Mygica uses the hardware from GeniaTech. They have several ?white-labeled? boxes. According to the specs they can provide the boxes with Widevine L1 or L3 certification. That would suggest that GeniaTech manufactures boxes with L1 & L3 DRM.

MyGica is just a different brand-name from Geniatech. Same products, just sold for a different market. MyGica is a fully owned subsidiary of Geniatech. That is, Geniatech sell their products directly to the end-consumers under the MyGica brand. Geniatech also offer OEM services, meaning you can order Geniatech's boxes with your company brand/labels on them and customized firmware (if you order large quantities).
