Linux Ubuntu - Updated eventclient for HAMA MCE remote
#1
Fellow Kodi users,

I was quite disappointed with the out of the box configuration for the HAMA MCE remote and before it always worked perfectly with the dedicated eventclient. So I looked into the Makefile and did some modifications to make it run on a modern Ubuntu distribution.

Download here. To install replace the {KODI_USER} brackets with your KODI home directory and execute:

Code:
tar xzf hama_mce-1.6.tar.gz
cd hama_mce-1.6/
make
sudo HOME=/home/{KODI_USER} make install

Then reboot and hopefully you should have a smooth HAMA MCE remote experience.
