Hi,

I'm having an issue where if I have a video of say 40+ mins and I try to skip through it using the left and right keys then after a while the video will just freeze. After that I can stop the video and return to the file lists, however my sound has then gone and the next video I try to load will just show buffering right away even though it will show a full cache and just sit there. The only way I can then watch a video is to physically reboot the whole box or sometimes if I leave it long enough it will simply crash back to the kodi boot screen and then all will work fine.

I am using SMB to serve the media and I didn't have this issue until recently. Anyone know where I would start with fixing this?

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file.

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.
