XBMC Lyrics - Help with "Lyrics Not Found"

Never really thought about that, so had to check. But seems to be a special Vision skin.

And if you just start the Lyrics script without music, so to bring up the menu for the script, you just get empty lines without text.
So right there's the problem. Vision needs to update it's skin for the script.

Same issue as you. Just upgrade to 1.5.9 and it works for me

Just a little problem (still). It work for the 1st song but you have to "reload" the script to update the lyric. In my mind, when a new song start, the script retrieve lyrics from the site automatically

You ask me some details on my settings. So here it is :

XBMC 2008-06-16 SVN rev13573 build - T3CH
XBMC Lyric 1.5.9-2148

Script config (try to translate the best i can, use french language):
Save: Yes
Save with extension : Yes
Smooth Scroll : Yes
Visualization : Yes
Shuffle playlist : Yes

When I launch the script :
1st song : Everything's ok
Following song : the tag (artist/track name) appear in the script's box, the lyricwiki scrapper is white (not gray) but the lyrics are still those of the 1st song.

But if it work for you, i'll looking for my settings. But what should i check

I have been unable to get the latest version of XMBC, 1.5.9-2148 Lyrics to work. I am also using the June 30, 2008 update of T3CH.

The Scripts Output is the following:

Q:\scripts\XBMC Lyrics\resources\lib\gui.py:219:RuntimeWarning:tp_compare didn't return -1 or -2 for exception if ( actionid in ACTION_EXIT_SCRIPT):

I have tried updating XMBC over 2 times now, and that hasn't solved anything. I have tried modifying the settings in different combinations but to no avail.
XBMC Lyrics acts differently depending on the scraper chosen. For Lyrc.com.ar, it starts up, but doesn't give any output (error or otherwise), plus I can't enter the settings while a song plays. For LyricWiki.org, it gives an error message of "Artist not found". I also can't enter the settings page while the song is playing.

Are there any suggestions. Thanks. Oh and by the way, I am new to the XBMC and not a programmer, so please talk to me like i'm a 6th grader

pastebin a debug log. and the titles of any songs that you're trying to play

To get the latest version of XBMC Lyrics go to http://www.xbmcscripts.com/index.php?opt...s%20v1.5.4 download the 1.5.4 version and unzip to xbox Q drive (scripts). now download the 1.5.9 version scraper file from suggested http://xbmc-scripting.googlecode.co.../XBMC%20Lyrics open file manager on your Xbox and delete the scraper file from ver 1.5.4 and replace with 1.5.9 scraper file. this works awsome in all skin formats mayhem, mc360, xtv ...... it will crash if you tax the 64mb ram so i use 1 folder at a time. to many programs running at same time will freeze your sexbox so be forwarned. only other feature i would love to see is like singstar or rockband type of text scroling by as the tune is playing. i love my box more than any other console as it runs almost 24/7.

tell the skinners to update their skins, i didn't make that big of a change did I?

Thanks, that did the trick. Although your link wasn't complete, but I found it a few pages back, sans the "s" in "https://"
Now, if there was an option in the Music settings to autostart, XMBC Lyrics, that would be great. Just an idea for the programmers out there.

add it to an autoexec.py
