Arrgh ! I have Kodi set up on a desktop not connected to the internet to minimize Virus infection ( I have tons of movies on Satillite drives that I am using kodi for) The last couple of days the Audio has stopped working in kodi but it is working in media player so I uninstalled Kodi and installed a fresh version of kodi and still the audio does not work. I am Confused as to what to do next. I did not do anything to any settings in kodi to get this to happened. Any suggestions will be Greatly Appreciated.

Maybe after a GPU Driver Update the Audio Device changed. Whats in your settings -> system -> audio as device?
remember: SPDIF is your optical output, you have to choose hdmi.

Gadzooks, a posted debug log might have been a simplier solution.

"Driverpack solution"
I'm a little sceptical of web sites that start off with music and some saleman telling me stuff. These shot gun driver installers, are never precision tools, and support services are left to mop up.
