Can't play any videos from addons
#1
Hi everyone, I recently installed KODI on Apple TV 4 and then I installed some addons from the official repo, but when I try to open them I get the same errors.
In the log:
ERROR: Control 55 in window 10025 has been asked to focus, but it can't
ERROR: XFILE::CDirectory::GetDirectory - Error getting plugin://plugin.video.videomediaset
ERROR: CGUIMediaWindow::GetDirectory(plugin://plugin.video.videomediaset) failed
 (sorry I don't know how to extract the log file, so I wrote it by hand)
 How can I resolve it? Thanks

Please provide the whole log, via Pastebin.com or paste.ubuntu.com .
It's a bit difficult solving puzzles with only a few pieces.

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file.

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Always use a paste site like pastebin.com. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum

Ah, yes... Paste.ubuntu.com is currently not working when using the Kodi log uploader addon. Sorry about that. You'll have to do that manually.

For Apple TV4, I don't know which path you have to choose for locating the kodi.log file, but these should come close.
iOS/ATV2 /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/kodi.log
macOS /Users/<username>/Library/Logs/kodi.log

When you found it, manually upload it, please.
