xrandr and profiles problem
#1
My HTPC is connected through a manual vga switch to a LG crt TV (640x480) and to a Sony VPL-AW15 projector (720p native, so 1280x720 vga res.).

I've been trying to set up the profiles for xbmc so on login I get the profile selection screen, one for each display device, but either I've found a bug, or I'm missing something.

X loads always at 640x480, and if I execute

Quote:xrandr -s 1280x720

it works and resolution changes, so it means that xrandr is properly working.

Then, I have two profiles. The first one (master) for the TV, set up to 640x480 Desktop resolution and the second one (Proyector, as found in the attached log file), for the projector where I try to set 1280x720@50 Hz. resolution.
If I try to test this resolution, xbmc crashes, so I just select it and logout from the profile.

If now I try to select the Proyector profile, xbmc also crashes.

I've never been able to get it working from xbmc.

This is the xbmc log file

and the console output error obtained when trying to select the Proyector profile:

Any hints would be appreciated, as I have no idea what's wrong since xrandr is working.

Doesn't have any of you at least two profiles with different resolutions on each one working?
