This one doesn't connect for me either using a Sprint HTC Touch Diamond. I tried everything, entered the IP, entered IP with :8080, disabled all phone connections except wifi, confirmed surfing to the IP on my phone's web browser. Just doesn't work, too bad, looks nice.
The new open source one by Johnsel works perfectly, no fuss no muss. Entered the IP, instantly worked.

blittan Wrote:perhaps skip the :80 since it's default port for http? otherwise, can you access it via browser in the phone? your phone might not be correctly set up.. tried that. it seems to want something like xbmc-ip but whenever i try all the combinations it wont conec. the remote linked above works fine but lacks the functions of this app |

No updates? I'd be happy to work on this if the code were available. May have to reverse engineer it. Has some flaws but looks clean and has potential.

Hi, i have installed xbrunzmc on my winmo device and have xbmc running on my computer but can't seem to get them to connect. I changed the xbrunzmc ip address to the same as my computer but still it is not finding my computer. Anyone have any ideas? Or is there a "how to" or trouble shooting guide for this? Any help would really be appreciated!
Cheers, -Gaiko |
