Hi!

I have an issue with playing copied DVDConfused over SMB. I've added the remote share in XBMC using the builtin SMB-browser. The folder shows up and I can browse the remote files.
If I try to play the DVD by selecteing the DVD folder (The one containing VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS) and pressing play on my MCE remote I get an error message. (Something like "to many errors in playlist....").
Selecting one individual .vob-file and pressing play works.

If I mount the remote folder with NFS, playback works as expected.

I've made two logs, one when playing over SMB and one when playing the files from the mounted NFS share.

XBMC.log (NFS)
XBMC.log (SMB)

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Regards
Jonas

Forgot to mention that I'm running Mythbuntu 8.04 and the latest SVN.

Bug and it's been noted already as per the link in my sig. If you rip to folders like that, or share apparently, you'll run into this error. It used to jsut play in a preview window but now fails with the error you noted. It'll get fixed eventually and then I can mostly retire my XBOX :-)

Ubuntu 10.10, MCE USB receiver, ASROCK 330 (ION), DVDs fed from unRAID cataloged by DVD Profiler. HD-DVD encoding Added DiNovo Mini KBRD w/track
