There are blank spaces in place of the strings from skin/language/* if the login screen is enabled, even when there is only one profile, master. They get loaded if I reload the skin
I checked with the default skin, custom skins, Android, Windows 7. It first appeared with http://mirrors.kodi.tv/nightlies/android...64-v8a.apk.
I'm no developer, but this commit looks like the only one from June 04 that has anything to do with profiles: https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/13972
