Hi,
I recently updated to Kodi v18-beta2, but now I have an error/bug with DPMS.
Everytime I play music (havn't tried it with movies etc. yet), after some arbitrary time it just cuts the audio stream. The title is still playing but no audio. When I press fast forward (skip 10 sec) or next title the audio comes back.
So when checking the log I found this:
So far I didn't want to upgrade to 16.04. because of some other services I'm using on that machine.
Here is also the latest log file in total: log file
The error once occured at 10:56:02. At 10:56:10 I hit fast forward and then it occured again at 11:01:14.
My HTPC is connected to an AVR (from Denon) with HDMI Control switched off. The TV Screen (tried it with TV on and off) went blank during the error.
I hope someone can help me with this, since I don't find any new infos on this with google.

Quote:INFO: DPMS: enabled power-saving mode SUSPENDWhen the error occurs it produces this line in the syslog:
Quote:snd_hda_codec_hdmi hdaudioC0D2: HDMI: pin nid 5 not registeredI also updated my .config/openbox/autostart to
Quote:OUTPUT=`xrandr -display :0 -q | sed '/ connected/!d;s/ .*//;q'`I don't have a xorg.conf file where it should be (according to google) and I think with the autostart script it should be safer anyway?
xrandr -display :0 --output $OUTPUT --set "Broadcast RGB" "Full"
xsetroot #000000
xset -dpms s off
/usr/bin/kodi --standalone
done
openbox --exit
