I'm having problems with this plugin it loads all the thumbnails but soon after my xbmc hangs, forcing me to restart the program.
I'm using the latest version of svn.

Same problem here with XBMC 9.11 linux (livecd ION optimized v12)

Hi,
i've just installed the plugin in the osx version of XBMC. The Featured Videos are loaded correctly but the plugin remain always in "Working.." state.
From the log it seems has done all work, but it doesn't exit from that state and i must kill xbmc
Anyone?

Fixed.. i've read it must be installed as a script.. it works great now

I put the YouTube folder inside my ~/.xbmc/plugins/programs/ folder.
When i start XBMC up and go to Programs > Plugin Programs > YouTube the program starts, but it seems like xbmc crashes cause I can't do anything?

Anyone familiar with this problem and know how to solve this?

You are suppose to put this in the scripts folder. It is a script not a plugin. There is another youtube plugin that you can add to plugins/video

@iorifly: if you mean that after it has loaded all video thumbs you get a "wait..." message window in the bottom right corner that never finishes, then i have the exact same problem.

i am using the svn xbmc pvr-testing2 branch.

I'm not sure if YouTube uses mms streams, but I have a workaround for the libmms issue (loading of mms streams takes forever, or do not complete at all, freezing XBMC): http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=530...tcount=692

Hi guys, I can run the youtube2 script just fine, but when I try and run the youtube3 script, it just says ''running'' for 5-7seconds and then nothing happens.

Any ideas?

This thing just hangs on the "Caching..." dialog. The progress bar doesn't move at all. I just updated to the latest bleeding edge T3CH build on my Xbox (rev 29407). Any help would be appreciated. Does anyone else have this problem?

Guys, I'm getting this error when I try to start Youtube script:

TypeError: XML File for Window is missing

I'm not able to understand this error, so any help would be highly appreciated.
