I took a look at some of the posts for Canadian content and personally I'd love to see the CBC news (as well as any other content possibly available).

I went playing around with Wireshark and noticed CBC news is going out and communicating with "release.theplatform.com" for what I assume was advert videos. but using the "get" requests I manually pulled a file (using: Http://release.theplatform.com/content.s...ormat=SMIL)
The file it returned did contain an rtmp string but I'm really new to this world and don't know how to play it... here is what I got if you're interested: "rtmp://cp32965.live.edgefcs.net/live/cbcvideo_regions_9@s13456?auth=daFdxbMbVdwdZddaDbAaNclcbbIaUaOdDcc-bnhNGd-T-olt_vxlErxuEw&aifp=v0003"

I would love to work with someone who has knowledge on plugins/rtmp dumps etc as I would love to see a plugin developed Sounds petty but I hate watching the news in an external browser and would rather see it natively within XBMC.

Hi, I don't know if you still do the request but I would like a video plugin from www.tou.tv.

There was a project made in the past http://code.google.com/p/tou-tv-XBMC/ , but since Dharma, the plugin fail to install.

By the way, does your HOW-TO write plugin still up to date for Dharma?

I saw a plug in that was maked for waching anime series from a web page, the poblem is, its not free, im not sure i did understand very well, but i came to guess this was a good place to ask for a plugin that actually showed free anime content from free accses web site, more precisely "animeid.com" which is a free to enter web site that does not require registration of any kind for waching animes. Im i in the right place? and is this request aceptable? Thanks in advance for your response.

I really would appreciate a plugin for http://www.zattoo.com

It offers Live-TV from (almost all) german TV Channels. But there are also English, French, Italian, Spanish, Catalan, Galician, Polish, Turkish and Arabic Channels available.

You can watch zattoo with a browser. It uses flash and most of the service is free.

However, you have to reside in the country of the channels you want to watch, but you can circumvent this using vpn-connection ar manipulating dns-records.

So I think this would be a great plugin...

have just signed up, and theres only half the channels you mention, certainly no eurosport ot bbc1, they are mainly foreign channels of little interest (to me anyways)!!

The possible channels depends on the ip you are using and from which country you are watching. Currently I am living in the US, and I redirect dns requests for the zattoo-IP´s over my german vpn-gateway. This is done completely transparent in my router. So I can watch German channels here. Unfortunately it does not correct the time-shift

Another possibility might be using the modify-headers-plugin in firefox. Here´s a tutorial:

In addition I have been looking for a YouTube plug-in that would allow me to browse listed channels. I wanted to be able to create my own list and also categories it.

This ( http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=45246 ) is the only plug-in I could find but it does not appear to be finished and no one has been able to provide any feedback on what must be done to make it work.

This could be a very easy one, there is a website with links to youtube videos. basically clicking on the link takes you to a page with embedded youtube video. Is that possible to browse this site in xbmc. these youtube videos are not in a youtube channel or anything makes it hard to subscribe to them! These are indian programs just something to keep my parents busy even if someone can give me a little start point me in the right direction i could have a go at it. thanks in advance
