Please post all plugin request for Voinage here!

I'd love to know how to do this to. I have no experience with python, but I'm a professional PHP programmer. Looking at the source code, Python seems like a easy language to learn!

HULU.COM !!

I know this has been requested (before), but that other forum just sort of fizzled out.

Now that hulu.com isn't in private beta anymore, could you take a crack at it?
It has all the popular shows and since it's run by the networks they all get updated regularly with high quality flv (or, I assume it's flv).

My main reason for wanting this is the Family & Kids Section. Between all the other plugins you've done almost TV show I could want is available (thanks!), but the problem is, those sites don't have anything for my 2.5 year old

I'd also like to take this opportunity to second a plugin tutorial. I know every site is different and we should just "learn python & figure it out" and I am trying to learn python, but that sort of thing is always harder without a clear understanding of WHAT we need to learn.
I mean, python is an entire language, it'd be nice to have some direction.

Having said that, if you don't have time/just don't wanna, then don't!

If that could bypass the "US only" limitation, that would be fantastic!

the US only limitation can be avoided by using a proxy.
Google "US proxy" and something will show up.

see the wiki for how to set up the proxy in xbmc
#35
hulu uses a proprietary transfer protocol. so it's not in voinage's power to implement this.
#36
Agreed. They use rtmp which xbmc doesn`t like at all at the moment.

a proxy is only needed when viewing the site with a browser for a single geoip request - you don't have to stream everything through the proxy, just one request. http://huluexposed.wordpress.com/2008/03...5-proxy-2/

I have another request!

As a huge motorsport (F1, A1, WTCC, and ....all others Tongue) fan I'd love to see a motorsport plugin.
In Holland we have RTL GP. The website offers some streams (not all I'd like to see).
http://www.rtl.nl/sport/rtl_gp/rtlgp/video.xml

But I'm sure there are a lot more sites offering motorsport streams. In the Netherlands Indycar, Nascar and the Le Mns Series aren't broadcasted. It would be great to have a plugin that collects some streams with motorsports. I personaly don't realy care what language they are. It's all about the engines, they speak for themselves Smile

Ciquit Park Zandvoort has a video archive that contains quite some nice footage!
http://www.circuit-zandvoort.nl/video/

I'm sure there are a lot more websites that offer car and motor sport video material. Maybe other people have suggestions?

Voinage, thanks again for filling my ninjavideo-request. Seems a lot of people are diggin' it..! anyway, I came across this web-site: http://www.channel101.com/index.php
Not your mainstream kind of videos, but it's very interactive and fresh. So perhaps you could look into building a plugin for it.
Thanks my man.

Could be complicated but is Sky Player a possability?

After Johnsto's work on iPlayer and your arm length list of fantastic pluggins I would say anything is... but being a network engineer I dont really know.. LOL!

Thanks again for your hard work I really appreciate it! If you live near Bucks in the UK coding leasons would be great to! so I could help! LMAO!!!

Also is there enough on here to justify a pluggin?

Rainbow
my wishlist would be:

http://www.euronews.net (to get latest news updates in several languages - i used to use it to practise french....but don't have cable anymore)...obviously the live feed probably won't work because you have to pay for more than 5 minutes.

and

Two audiobook sites I'm *really keen on*

http://www.podiobooks.com

( to find the actual feed for each individual book simply take the listing page:
eg
http://podiobooks.com/title/daughter-of-the-sun

and add /feed/

http://podiobooks.com/title/daughter-of-the-sun/feed/ )

rather than bother signing up. Also links to each file are also contained on the page for downloading so perhaps that will be easier!

Also:

http://www.librivox.org (freeware public domain audiobooks - mostly classics whos copyright protection has expired)!

Obviously I knwo you're busy and have got other things on your mind right now vin so no pressure buddy Wink

Just wanted to add my two cents.

1. I agree. I'm getting a lot of use out of the ninjavideo and quicksilver plugins. Cheers to Voin!

2. Would like to see the plugin for audiobooks.

3. A plugins tutorial would be great. I know all of this can be learned from a Google search, but i've had a hard time finding xbox specific stuff. Even if you put up sections and tasked pieces of projects out to people, I'm sure that could help lighten your work load, especially for those requests that are put on the far back burner. I honestly don't know where you find the time to do all this great free work for all of us moochers! Thanks a ton tho!Big Grin

..ok, so it was three cents
