I'd love to know how to do this to. I have no experience with python, but I'm a professional PHP programmer. Looking at the source code, Python seems like a easy language to learn!

HULU.COM !!
I know this has been requested (before), but that other forum just sort of fizzled out. Now that hulu.com isn't in private beta anymore, could you take a crack at it? It has all the popular shows and since it's run by the networks they all get updated regularly with high quality flv (or, I assume it's flv). My main reason for wanting this is the Family & Kids Section. Between all the other plugins you've done almost TV show I could want is available (thanks!), but the problem is, those sites don't have anything for my 2.5 year old I'd also like to take this opportunity to second a plugin tutorial. I know every site is different and we should just "learn python & figure it out" and I am trying to learn python, but that sort of thing is always harder without a clear understanding of WHAT we need to learn. I mean, python is an entire language, it'd be nice to have some direction. Having said that, if you don't have time/just don't wanna, then don't! |

If that could bypass the "US only" limitation, that would be fantastic!

the US only limitation can be avoided by using a proxy.
Google "US proxy" and something will show up. see the wiki for how to set up the proxy in xbmc |

hulu uses a proprietary transfer protocol. so it's not in voinage's power to implement this.

Agreed. They use rtmp which xbmc doesn`t like at all at the moment.

I have another request!
As a huge motorsport (F1, A1, WTCC, and ....all others ) fan I'd love to see a motorsport plugin. In Holland we have RTL GP. The website offers some streams (not all I'd like to see). http://www.rtl.nl/sport/rtl_gp/rtlgp/video.xml But I'm sure there are a lot more sites offering motorsport streams. In the Netherlands Indycar, Nascar and the Le Mns Series aren't broadcasted. It would be great to have a plugin that collects some streams with motorsports. I personaly don't realy care what language they are. It's all about the engines, they speak for themselves ![]() Ciquit Park Zandvoort has a video archive that contains quite some nice footage! http://www.circuit-zandvoort.nl/video/ I'm sure there are a lot more websites that offer car and motor sport video material. Maybe other people have suggestions? Voinage, thanks again for filling my ninjavideo-request. Seems a lot of people are diggin' it..! anyway, I came across this web-site: http://www.channel101.com/index.php
Not your mainstream kind of videos, but it's very interactive and fresh. So perhaps you could look into building a plugin for it. Thanks my man. |
