Unable to compile
#1
I've just try to compile a windows version (using BuildSetup.bat), ffmpeg compile, xbmc begin to compile, but suddenly stop after a little time... I'm unable to see any error message, if there is, it's too fast ! Command line windows close brutaly. Not able to find any log file...

Open a command line and start buildsetup from there. Paste output here.

I've just retried now, after a git update, and this time, everything went fine.
Probably a bad luck yesterday, getting things (incomplete ?) between commits or something like that.

Happening again. Updated git and build dependancy, and when i start BuildSetup :
Code:
------------------------------------------------------------
---------------
ERROR ERROR ERROR ERROR ERROR ERROR ERROR ERROR ERROR
---------------
ERROR: MSBuild was not found.
------------------------------------------------------------
Press any key to exit...
French text translated :
Error : System was unable to find the key or the specified register value.

The last time i've compiled was the 24/05, it worked at this time.

I don't have it... I have only VS2010.
Is it dead ?
Is now xbmc unable to compile with VS2010 ?

Correct
At least for master branch. And for now you need VS2010 and VS2013 (due to pvr addons). Shortly you will only need VS2013

Tried to install VS2013, but, as i was affraid, don't want to install on WinXP...
If now VS2013 is mandatory, i'm screwed while i'm not finidng the time (i don't have for now...) to do what i've planed to do, updating my PC to Win7...
I thought all the "VS2013" updates i saw on github was only modifications to make possible to compile xbmc under VS2013, not making VS2013 mandatory...
Ok, so be it...
