Solved Dim setting only affecting part of screen

Hi!

Hoping for some help - am quite new to Kodi.

When I set the dim options on the picture slideshow screensaver, only part of the screen is dimmed (a horizontal band at the top covering about 5% of the screen is left at the normal brightness)

Anyone seen this before?
