Hi,

i got for christmas a appleTV 4k with 12.1.1 on it. I want to upload Kodi but it doesn't work probably.

I got:

org.xbmc.kodi-ios_17.6-0_iphoneos-arm64.deb

this .deb file and i signed it with iOs App Signer and certs in Xode without issues.

But when i upload it on my ATV 4K vida Xode. there is a problem:

App installation failed

This application does not support this kind of device.

Is there any reason , how to fix this? isn't kodi working on 12.1.1?

Should i downgrade my appleTV to tvOS12 ? how can i do this?

you can’t use the iOS deb for tvOS. In the following thread you find the Kodi Krypton test build for your Apple TV 4K:

The current build is from 20180227.
