but: Keys are to sensitive.. means.. 1 down.. goes most 2 times down.. all other keys too. or is it a driver problem?

"back" and "menu" are swapped, i think.

Works great. But i believe you used the wrong command for the "back" buttton. The right command is "ParentDir" like the "Backspace" Button on the keyboard.

Ok I see it, it is possible to execute one exe with a python script and the script run on the XBMC startup ?
If someone knows it would be cool!
Sorry for my English. Nod

Could this maybe be made into an Event Client for XBMC Windows port so that it can be included with XBMC?

Eventclients are plug n play remote controls for xbmc, the wiiremote for LINUX is a good example of an eventclient in c++. there are other examples in tools/eventclients/examples/ on LINUXbranch. if you go event client you dont need to know the keyboard codes as you can send specialised codes. wiiremote works that way. if you have any questions feel free to pm or email me, i will be on vacation without computer so i might be slow to reply though Smile

Used extra Microsoft IR adapter and followed the wiring instructions here http://www.redcl0ud.com/ir_wiring.html , except I took the adapter apart and desoldered the XBOX USB, so all I had left was the front cover and the circuit board. I attached a USB cable, drilled a hole in the front of my HTPC case and used clear silicone adhesive to attach.

I loaded the drivers from Redcloud, installed the program from here and it all worked OK.

Did find an issue with the Back button. It acts like the Menu button not the Back button, and the Title button is not working.

Also, with this program, I could not change the preferences because when you click on it in the system tray, the preferences do not come up on the screen. Using Redclouds original, I can get to the preferences program but the arrow keys will not work no matter what I set them to do.

So for right now, I'm happy with this beta prog that at least allows basic functions in XBMC on windows.

An event client also integrated into XBMC natively, kind of like a plugin, so no need to install or configure it seperatly, instead it becomes part of XBMC.

Cool
