Krypton 17.6 will not open on El Capitan
#1
I have tried to install Krypton 17.6 on my  Mac but it crashes on startup.  I only get a Kodi crash report/log.  I have uninstalled/installed Kodi numerous times but nothing helps.

I created an advancedsettings.xml file to enable a debug log but nothing is created.  Kodi does not seem to get very far in starting up.

I hope someone can help me.

The number of threads in that report suggest that there should be a Kodi.log already. Are you 100% sure there is none?

I have searched my system for any Kodi log files in both the administrator and user directories. The only thing I have found was the attached crash report.

This issue started when I attempted to upgrade to 17.6.  Previous versions had no problems.  But now previous versions of Kodi and Kodi 18, all will not start.

I have completely removed Kodi and all user files but new installs crash at start-up.

I am not sure were to look next.

Do you have any suggestions?
