Movies can be opened and played still fine but for series (and kids series) I get pop up with info “Please update app to the latest version to enjoy…”. I checked both Leia 18.9 and Matrix 19.1. 

same problem...on Sony Android TV and also Windows 10 with Kodi 19.1

Did you try to "right click" or "long press OK" button to bring up context menu on those Series/Episodes, and then select "Add to Favorites"?
If I do that, then those streams play from Favorites menu without any problem.

This does not work any more also for me. Now I have to go to "Search", find my Movie/Season_or_Episode and from there (with Context Menu) add it to Favorites to get it working from Favorites menu.

Hello, i'm limited with time at the moment. But will look into it. Most likely the changes causing this catch on on all platforms, this might take longer to fix then previous times.
For the moment the only valid workaround is use the search function. Movies are not affected.

It may come in handy, It works fine for me, whole seasons add up that can be played every episode in a season

Hey @arvvoid, I've been using using the addon without issue for a while now, but coming back to it after circa a month, I'm not able to play any content. I can login just fine and everything seems to work, however as soon as I select an episode/movie, the loading wheel goes on for a few seconds, and Kodi just eventually crashes with

I'm in the Czech Republic (hbogo.cz), I spotted some changes recently, so the API might have possibly changed a bit too - I don't have experience with it so hard to judge.

A fix for the "New version" error on season/series listings is available but need testing: https://github.com/arvvoid/plugin.video....u/pull/201
Made a couple of quick tests an the issue seams fixed, if you have time please test and let me know and I will release soon after.

On W10 work OK but on Sony Android TV when I starting video Kodi always crash... I started from favorites and also directly from HBOGO ....

@webmaher Tnx, the problem on Sony TV is not related to this issue, and most likely is outside the add-on wil look the log later.

EDIT: @webmaher The posted log, is not in debug mode, debug has to be enabled in Kodi and add-on config as well.

After a quick test (several seasons/episodes from several menus) on my CoreElec_Kodi Leia installed on my Amlogic boxes (S922X & S905X) - everything works without problem, as expected with the new (2.7.7) update.
If I find any glitch/error will report back;

Version 2.7.8 that fix the "new version" error in series/season listings will be available soon in the Kodi add-on repository.
