Bug Kodi 17 and 18 doesn't seem to recognize defaults
#1
Hi,
since Kodi 17.6 and now with 18, I had a flaw with the default lists. I set the default list to my music folder and when I start Kodi, the folder appears as I wanted it (see: https://www.bilder-upload.eu/bild-ae5306...7.jpg.html)
But when I klick to the main menu and on "Music" again, the folder that shows up ist one level above the desired one (see: https://www.bilder-upload.eu/bild-110c0a...6.jpg.html).
When I set the default to e.g. "Bruce Springsteen" and switch to the main menu and back again, the music folder from pic 2 shows up.
On Kodi 15 Isengard, the behaviour is an other. Even when I switch to main and back to music, the same folder as before is shown.

How can I get Kodi 17 and also 18 to behave as Isengard? This flaw is very annoying and it prevent me to install the newer versions on my HTPC, which still runs with Isengard.

The issue is independent of the skin. It is a flaw of Kodi 17 and 18.

Your pictures/images are not working. Use the 'i' button in the editor toolbar to automagically upload your pictures and have them embedded.

Links working on my machine. I don't know, why you have problems...

Thanks for the tip with the "i". I can't do anything with "imgur".
Anyway, here are the embedded pics:

Edit: Pic 1 is the desired one.

You may want to look for a different image upload website.... This is what I get when searching in Google, and probably also the reason why my access is blocked (by Pi-Hole, likely)

I've found out, that in Kodi 18 the flaw shows only after the startup of Kodi and switching to Main and back. With any next toggling to Main and back to Music, Kodi 18 behaves like Isengard. In Kodi 17 the flaw is permanent.
Is there a chance to fix it with the next update?
