Kodi 18.1 Android is available on the Google Play Store, and 18.1 PC is available on the web site, but there has been no release announcement.

What's going on?

 TBH I don't know of any Opensource software that announces a .1 release with a massive fanfare.  What is the point?  I noticed it happened when the Ubuntu software updater started downloading it and then thought no more of it.
