make it possible to have the dvdplayer to play ntsc movies in pal framrate 25f/s
just like mplayer can adjust framrate 23.97 f/s to 25 f/s on any xvid movie. a ntsc 29.97 movie must be harder to adjust to 25. /thx ![]() |

(spiff @ dec. 04 2005,01:49 Wrote:just had to comment;so i can convert the 29.97 f/s movie with dvd2avi to 25f/s. that´s nice but i want xbmc dvdplayer to play the 29.97 in 25f/s right away with no conveting, that must be hard to do. just like xbmc mplayer do with 23.97f/s to 25f/s xvid movies ![]() |

you can easily do ivtc realtime, thus converting telecined 29.97 movies to 23.98 which can then be fucked up by the helium nastiness that is adjust framerate..

ok.. so will this be in dvdplayer soon?
it´s not fun to play dvd with 23.97 or 29.97 f/s on a 50hz pal tv have you seen this program http://reclock.free.fr/ it a must have if you watch movies on a computerscreen. but i must say mplayer in xbmc is the best player to play 23.97 f/s movies in 25f/s very impressive playback ![]() /thx ![]() |
