I am running Kodi 18.2 on an Intel NUC under Linux-mint-xfce 19.1 (kernel 5.0.17.)  Recently, I cannot click on ANYTHING connected with music-- even the MUSIC entry in the main menu, followed by GO TO THE FILES is enough to freeze Kodi completely, and the only way out is to restart Kodi.  I used to have a music library of my ripped CDs, and now I cannot access them in the usual way, although if I go to File Manager and click on the music folder I can play anything stored there.  I have this problem also on a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro running the same OS and software. 
Does anyone have a similar issue?  Is this a Kodi problem?

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.
