In low light scenes, I notice frames brightening up and then going darker again. It's as if someone is doing flash photography or maybe it's going in and out of HDR. This only happens on my kodi HDR. My WMC box does not exhibit this behaviour.
The KodiHDR is a 9th Gen Intel Chip. It runs Windows 10 (with HDR turned on, I also tried with HDR turned off ) and it feeds an LG B7 OLED. Any ideas which setting I need to tweak to eliminate this?

Intel GPU use jogal version. The version is only to NVidia and AMD.

Thank you, it's bizarre that this version worked somewhat, there's no nvidia or amd chipset on this particular kodi install

It´s equal official Kodi to SDR videos, to HDR use private API (Nvidia and AMD Only), hope make sense now.

Strangely some HDR movies are really bright and awesome, but some are dimmed.
I’m playing thru a 4k projector, Optoma p1.
 I also experience this phenomenon when I was playing ironman3 4k HDR.
I’ve been testing on a particular scene in ironman3.
Upgraded to this version of V19 since I’m using standalone nvidia GPU 1650, build date 4 or 5Jun.
Now at night, i played ironman3 and the HDR is bright now. 
It’s strange...
will test on daytime and see if the HDR stays bright

Kinda still sucks, HDR getting more consistent, but there's no way to get the Netflix addon inputstream working on this build. The official kodi build works just fine? I think it's a python 3 thing? Any direction would be very helpful please!

get master version, change Python 2.26.0 to 3.0.0, save, zip plugin and install, the script code is compatible with python 3 too.

Use Inpustream add-on - version 2.6.0

Post your debug log if it doesn't work after the following steps mentioned.

Get the latest Kodi version on the drive, and stay updated too, only need get the install and run again.

Hey Wanilton sorry for my inexperience but how do i change Python 2.26.0 to 3.0.0? The rest i can do...

EDIT: not sure but went into the xml and changed python line from <import addon="xbmc.python" version="2.53.0"/> to <import addon="xbmc.python" version="3.0.0"/>
BUT dependencies not met um using KODI 19 alpha HDR Matrix fork

EDIT Again: the input stream addon says its not compatible with my version of kodi?

Hi there...!   

I have installed thexai's "Kodi Windows HDR 3.6.5" and I have to say it's great: playback is flawless (changes automatically between HDR and SD, playback is smooth) thou colors are a little dim (but this also happend with Kodi and MadVR).

Where I have experienced a little trouble is here: when Kodi is running (playing or not, just running) my pc starts to lag... and when I open a Windows file explorer window my pc becomes almost unusable. It becomes sluggish... As soon as I close Kodi all returns to "normal", also, if I close file explorer the pc returns to lag (recovers a little bit).

To recapitulate: Kodi Windows HDR 3.6.5 + Windows File Explorer = unusable PC (in my case)

Anyone having this issue? Ideas?

Setup:
Windows 10 Pro x64 ver 2004 (also happend with Windows 1904)
Kodi Windows HDR 3.6.5 x64
Asus motherboard, Intel 7th processor
nVidia GTX 1060 (with default Windows driver, also tried nVidia's 446.14-desktop-win10-64bit-international-dch-whql)

You are using the jogal (thexai) version, better ask in the proper thread
