Can't connect NFS Share
#1
I am trying to add a nfs network location to Kodi. I am running on Raspian Stretch with Leia. The share is on a MacPro. I can mount the share on the RPi with
Code:
sudo mount macpro.local://Volumes/Martha /home/pi/TV

In Kodi I enter macpro.local in the server and Volumes/Martha in the share. It fails to connect but if I have Kodi add the location it shows up as nfs://macpro.local/Volumes/Martha

Why can the RPi mount the volume but Kodi can't?

Here is the kodi log

Try using IP address instead of host names.

With the IP address I still get the "RPC Packet not accepted by the server" error.

Sounds like some sort of configuration error on the server side then.  That's where I'd begin investigating.

I ended up opening the nfs share to the least restrictive options and Kodi finally connected. I am going to go back and try tightening up the restrictions to gain a little more security.
