Yellow Dog is a Linux Distro, there is no practical reason XBMC cannot run on it.

Keep in mind that the PS3 has a unique CPU/GPU setup ( I believe there are 3 processors) which may cause problems.

That being said, how cool would it be to have XBMC running on a legally hacked Sony product! LOL Screw Sony!
