Installing XBMC on Fedora Core 8

Haven't seen this post in here, yet, but this was a doosey. FYI: you need to make sure the following packages are installed before you run the build.sh script:
(should probably add these into the README.linux for Fedora)

boost-devel
libGLEW-devel
libXinerama-devel
libmad-devel
libtre-devel
libogg-devel
libvorbis-devel (had to remove vlc-core -- a real bitch to install in the first place)
SDL-devel
SDL_image-devel
SDL_mixer-devel
freetype-devel
fontconfig-devel
bzip2-devel (this caused all sorts of grief, as you can probably imagine)
In the end, trying to resolve the bzip2 dependencies almost broke the computer, so I've had to admit defeat and go to bed! I really wanted to vote for this, too.
